What video game could you whip any teenager at? Super Mario 2 (the one with the flying princess…I always picked her).
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Probably driving through Mexico in a 1989 Chevy Suburban that had 156,000mi on it. The thing was loaded down with supplies we were carrying to Belize. We encountered lots of large rifles and checkpoints along the way, not to mention, the biggest speed bumps I’ve ever seen.
Most Embarrassing moment? My first year of tee ball...I get my first hit...I'm running to first base...Rather than run to second base, I keep running past first base down the chalk line until it ends and I'm wondering where to run next...I'm tagged out. I was embarrassed, but my mom, dad and grandma were more embarrassed.
C.J.'s favorite TV theme song? The theme from Magnum P.I.
“I had a small idea as to what I was going to hear and see when C.J. brought his material to our teen camp this summer, but I was beyond pleased with all that it covered. The kids were tracking right with him; and as any youth worker will tell you, keeping a group of teens’ attention for half and hour or more is no easy task. It was no problem with C.J. and topics he covered. C.J. and the materials used were exactly what our kids needed to hear and the way it was presented was exciting and challenging!!! I’m still hearing from our teens about what they heard and saw!!! Our kids need to hear the truth about the dangerous things they allow into their lives!”
